Lovely Records was launched in 2018 to represent the label interests of Tia Gostelow as an Independent artist. We are now moving into the exciting venture of supporting other artists to reach their potential.
An experienced songwriter and performer in her own right, Tia Gostelow is an accomplished artist and respected industry mentor, flanked by two full-length records and streams in the millions, whilst maintaining full ownership of her master recordings.
Released in 2018 via Lovely Records, Tia’s debut album ‘Thick Skin’ earned the Queensland Music Award for Album of the Year and a coveted Triple J Feature Album slot, with certified PLATINUM single ‘Strangers’ sitting just shy of 20 million streams. In 2021, sophomore album ‘Chrysalis’, also released via Lovely Records, rose to #1 Album on the AIR Charts, receiving an AIR AWARDS nomination for Best Pop Album, as well as being nominated for a National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMA) for Album of the Year.
Through an ambition of independence and dedication to fostering Australian artistry, Tia Gostelow has made it her mission to contribute to the development and support of fellow songwriters and musicians.
Supporting Tia on the Lovely Records team is her management team, Graham Ashton and Kristy Gostelow.
Graham has three decades of label experience and was part of the team that signed and developed the careers of POWDERFINGER & MUMFORD & SONS in Australia.
Kristy brings 20 + years of experience across Corporate, Government, and Non-Profit organisations in Business and Artist Management and Development roles.
Lovely Records champions independent artists with a particular affinity for female, First Nations and regional-based artists, focusing on artist and repertoire development, recording, releasing, marketing and presenting quality original music.
